The last picture show

I mentioned Randy Pausch -- a Carnegie-Mellon computer scientist who died of pancreatic cancer on Sunday -- below. His "last lecture" (a frame used by many universities for faculty lectures; the idea is for the professor to sum up the lessons of their life and work as if he or she were speaking for the last time) is a funny and poignant take on achieving childhood dreams that is well worth watching.
